Shoulder buttons to also rotate items and control Ashley. This is not a feature from the GC version. Shoulder buttons in inventory to switch between screens (key items/inventory/files). Shoulder triggers to control Leon in world (knife/aim). Map is on select, not the Right shoulder button (which would be the "Z" button on GC). If it tells you to mash "X" you need to hammer down the "A" button.
Button prompts for X and A on the screen are SWAPPED. Aside from the nuances listed below, everything should have that Gamecube controller feel.
I tested it, but who knows if there are secret problems hiding. This isn't just meant for those of us who have those button inputs muscle memorized, but also if you think the default inputs are wonky. Everything except for the map is similar to the GC version.
